Advanced System Care – Help Keep Scammers Away by Cleaning and Secureing Your PC Effectively and Keeping it that Way

Writer Margo Gabriel shares that she recently received a LinkedIn message from an individual who claimed to be a recruiter for a UK company seeking to hire content writers.

“It caught my attention because the position offered relocation assistance and sponsorship for my work visa, which intrigued me. ” He then mentioned that if I had any interest, he would set up an interview – and I did.

However, Gabriel became suspicious when she discovered that the job would actually require her to work in Saudi Arabia instead of the UK, and the individual claiming to be a recruiter was evasive when asked for more information.

After reaching out to LinkedIn for assistance, Ms Gabriel, residing in Portugal, received guidance to block him as a likely scammer – and she now considers herself fortunate to have escaped the situation.

Due to the massive influx of job applications on LinkedIn, scammers are now focusing more on jobseekers by offering fraudulent job opportunities. According to a recent study by NordLayer, approximately 66% of British users have fallen victim to cyberattacks.

The presence of fake job advertisements is not limited to LinkedIn alone. Scammers also take advantage of other reliable job platforms and even send deceptive emails directly to university students.

The scams operate through two primary methods.
