Advanced System Care – Help Keep Scammers Away by Cleaning and Secureing Your PC Effectively and Keeping it that Way

Researchers in Australia have created an innovative AI chatbot that can effectively imitate human behavior during prolonged phone conversations with fraudulent callers, aiming to address the increasing problems associated with telephone scams.

Artificial intelligence algorithms have undergone training using over 100 scam calls, enabling them to detect and replicate the language and script patterns used by scammers. This aims to disrupt the business model of fraudulent individuals and render phone scams financially unsustainable.

The action is a collaborative initiative involving businesses, government, and law enforcement agencies aimed at actively countering fraudulent schemes and safeguarding the public against negative consequences such as monetary damages and emotional suffering.

Scam calls result in significant financial losses.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission revealed that Australian authorities suffered a significant loss of A$3. 1 billion due to scams in 2022, according to a report released in April. In recent years, there has been a notable surge in losses due to the advanced techniques adopted by scammers in their criminal activities.

Phone scams in Australia resulted in losses of A$141 million last year, making up 29% of the reported scams, as stated in the ScamWatch section of the report. Australia experiences approximately six to seven fraudulent phone calls per person on a monthly basis. “That’s most likely the amount of messages I am personally getting,” expressed Dali Kaafar, a professor and director at the Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub in Sydney.

In Sydney’s Scams Summit last month, Kaafar raised an important query to a crowd of scam experts regarding the continuous rise in the number of successful scam calls. He mentioned that in order to gain a deeper understanding of this problem, one must take into account four essential aspects: technology, social aspects, financial factors, and prevention difficulties.
